Oath Inc. is a fully owned subsidiary of Verizon Communications' Media and Telematics division, that will serve as the parent company of its content sub-divisions AOL and Yahoo!. At Oath, my role was help the design team to develop better UI UX & design for membership subscription properties in order to drive site engagement, user retention and return visitation for AOL membership including creating stretegies, design mocks and A/B testing plan.

Highlights:
  • Help customers to adopt AOL products by improving UI/UX & design using data from Adobe Target.
  • Hands on Design & launched multiple MVP programs that led 2+ million adoptions.
  • Provide new strategies to improve churn rate by using site optimization using Adobe Target platform and capture & analyze the user conversion & path.

Repair.com was a startup that was launched by Asurion(N.E.W) and my role was redesign and rebrand the company's site. The main purpose of Repair.com was to introduce and reinforce our brand narrative while engaging and converting prospects. So I introduced a conversion strategy that employed predictive analytics, dynamic messaging, push/click chat and service availability search. I also helped to develop call center communications tools to help between customers to resolve any issues with the site.

Highlights:
  • Created and launched v1, v2 of repair.com and worked on the v3 of repair.com with more customer focused UI/UX method and web usability.
  • Come up with site flow and wireframes for external and internal sites and prototyping the design flow for repair.com and internal service providers.
  • Interface with customers & internal team to gather requirements and develop creative solutions, through concept, strategy, execution with better User-Interface design goals and method.
  • Working closely with an agency to come up with new Mobile UI/UX and design for Repair.com
  • Managing multiple creative projects from concept to launch using innovative visual concept and web standard.

I was part of Nextel group right before they merged and my role was create & develop their IT project management portal called nCompass.

  • Developed and Managed an IT Project Management Portal called nCompass. nCompass assists Program and Project Managers across the Nextel IT organization with processes and procedures that are necessary for proper project reporting and accounting.
  • Designed and developed internal web site from the bottom up using marketing material as it was being generated. Provided multiple versions of web sites to track changing priorities of the group.
  • Designed ASP-based extranet, non-public website; site interacts with SQL DB, receives/presents live data instantly. Company agents log in, choose from a set of individually selected forms, use these forms to enter and retrieve data from multiple SQL databases.
  • Managed a 150-page website; ensured current product and event announcements; provided vital support files and links to Digital partners; managed network configurations; managed Windows NT staging server HW/SW; monitored site performance.
  • Developed website requiring detailed understanding of client's needs, with attention to exact placement of objects throughout the site and concern for download limitations.

Sirius XM Radio

XM radio was very exicting place to work and the satellite radio technology was growing around 2000. I was hired to re-design xmradio.com which was their portal for all members to get information about the XM radio channels and also manage the memberhip engagement.

  • Designed www.xmradio.com and maintained all content found throughout www.xmra- dio.com, the company’s portal web site.
  • Developed interactive rich media guide for XM customers.
  • Designed an e-commerce application for GM partners. It’s Delphi XM Radio online shopping system that provides GM partners to order XM Radio online. This project was full life cycle, and used Yahoo shopping as a backend support and using RTML technologygy to manage the client shopping experience.

Winstar

Winstar was the telecom company that was based in N.Y. and it was one of the fast growing technology around 1997. I was the lead interactive designer for the company's main site and resulted in 800% traffic increase in unique visitor.

  • Content layout design, posting and maintenance of all content found through the company’s portal web site.
  • Increased web traffic 800% in unique visitors to www.winstar.com through targeted customer and vendor programs, and completely redesigned usability interface.
  • Improved the site’s load-time efficiency 45% by optimizing all content, and spearheading the use of a global provider of Internet content delivery services.
  • Established and enforced unified web branding standards across all Winstar web sites. Developed a single web site template that integrated the brand, yet was flexible enough to meet the needs of over 200 diverse sites.

Lockheed Martin is an American global aerospace, defense, security and advanced technologies company with worldwide interests.

Developed 3-tier client/server architecture system called ADR (Application Dispute Resolution). This project was full life cycle, and used ASP, ADO, Java, JavaScript, VB Script, COM, Crystal Reports 7, Oracle 8.05 and PL/SQL. The first tier consists of the Netscape browser that communicates with the Oracle database via the middle tier. The middle tier consists of the IIS Web server that deploys and executes the business and application software. The third tier consists of the database server that runs an Oracle 8 database and handles storage and retrieval of the ADR data. The system provides automated tracking and management of patent applications that may be inappropriately classified.
