I had the opportunity to work with Yong while at AOL and found him to to be among the most intelligent people in the business group. Yong was often consulted on complex projects as someone with deep knowledge of the business and overall industry. Any organization that is lucky enough to work with Yong will quickly realize the value that he brings to a team.
Yong is an excellent technologist / developer and a fantastic visual designer. His ability to think strategically about a problem helped him develop detailed solutions that exceeded client expectations in every case. He is a rare talent.
Yong was a terrific designer at AOL as part of the Discover AOL and AOL Essentials programs. He provided technical and design stewardship on our team with a positive, "can-do" attitude at all times. In addition, he was not afraid to take on tough assignments that often involved the limitations of a dial-up audience. His unique breadth and depth of these skills will serve him well in the future.
